Cale and Amanda from the Y108 morning show visited to read to our kindergarten and 1st grade students as part of Read Across America week.
Yough recently hosted the Geography Bowl: Africa for K–5 elementary students. The event welcomed 11 districts and more than 165 students, all of whom were challenged to learn African countries, capitals, and flags while competing in a variety of academic activities.
Yough Team 2—Everett, Kameron, John, and Jack—earned an impressive 2nd place overall in the Intermediate Division. Individually, John placed 1st overall, an outstanding achievement.

Effective June 16, 2025, if you are registering your child to attend HW Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year, you will no longer need to complete registration at our Central Office. Registration will now be completed at HW Good Elementary. Please visit 1464 Herminie-West Newton Rd if you need to enroll your child.
